New Delhi: India’s largest electric vehicle charging station (EV) with a capacity of 100 charging points for 4 wheels, opened on Friday at Delhi-Jaipur National Highway in Gurugram.
Previously, the largest EV charging station in India was located in Navi Mumbai with a 16 AC & 4 DC charging port for EV.
The new EV charging station has been developed by the Piloting Tech Alektrify Private Limited company.
“This station is now open with 96 chargers for technical inspections for various ‘certification compliance’ and ‘safety standards’ placed two weeks ago by the power ministry, the Indian government and who also opened the doors to offer government land to the government or institution Public and private entities to regulate charging stations on the basis of income sharing, “said the company in a statement.
“This EV charging station will not only improve the electrical vehicle industry in the region, but will also act as benchmarks for large EV charging stations throughout the country,” he said.
During the inauguration program, representatives from government agencies were given a guided tour of the facility and were equipped with information about various government standard compliance and industrial best practices followed in the formation and station operations.
During the Abhijeet Sinha ceremony, the Director of the National Program, the ease of conducting a business program and the National Highway Project Director for electric vehicles in additional fees, “India is on the verge of making investment in the E-Mobility Charging Infra Setup very competitive compared to fuel stations in terms of ease of stations Licensing, commissioning, electrification, certification and to withdraw income equality with existing gas stations.
