Kanpur: The Sankranti Makar Festival, which is popularly known as ‘Khichdi’ will be celebrated on January 15, this year because the Sun will enter the capricorn at 14.49 on January 14, 2022.
According to the ‘Pandits’ and astrologers, all Hindu festivals are prepared with the sunrise, therefore The festival will be celebrated on January 15.
Sankranti Makar is celebrating in almost all parts of the country.
