Ghaziabad: A man decappered his co-worker in the city of Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh for a small dispute and threw away his head on a blank plot here, police said on Tuesday.
The defendant, identified as Sandip, has maintained hostility to the co-worker Pramod Kumar and plans to kill him, said SP (City) Gyanendra Singh.
The case was listed against Sandip below the 302 part of the IPC and he was arrested around 12:30 a.m., he said.
Kumar went to meet Sandip, 35, in a drunk condition on Monday night.
Taking advantage of Kumar’s condition, Sandip cut off his head, wrapped his head with a polythene bag and dumped it on a blank plot in the Shankar Vihar colony, according to the police.
Only two hours after the incident, Police Kavi Nagar restored Kumar’s head from the empty plot and arrested the defendant, SP added.
