Noida: Ghaziabad added 104 new cases in the last 24 hours even because the sample peposititivity was recorded at 1.8% on Thursday, up from Wednesday 0.8%.
Neighboring countries, Gautam Budh Nagar reported 146 new cases in the appropriate period, officials said.
The number of active cases in Ghaziabad was recorded around 560 on that day, where a total of 471 patients were in home insulation while 19 patients currently undergo treatment at separate facilities in all districts.
According to district health officials, the level of vaccination and immune development is the factors that bring down cases.
The daily recovery rate also increased to 98.76% in February from 88% around January 15.
About 6,000 people were tested for Covid on Thursday.
Since February 1, Ghaziabad has reported a total of 1,350 cases of Covid and three deaths.
GB Nagar, who also recorded three deaths, added 1,954 cases in the appropriate period.
On Thursday, 234 more people recovered from infections in the district.
This month, Ghaziabad has collected more than 73,000 covid samples for testing.
At 2,71,781, the maximum number of test samples in the last six months was collected in January this year.
Health officials in Ghaziabad and GB Nagar, meanwhile, said they had reached a 100% target for booster shots, while efforts to cover all beneficiaries of the 15-17 age group.
Because voting in the first phase on Thursday, the amount of vaccination remains low in both areas.
GB Nagar only validated 626 people and Ghaziabad 448 on Thursday.
