Ghaziabad / Noida: The doctor suggested a swine flu test and Covid for those who appeared in the clinic with a fever.
The number of patients with flu has increased in the past two weeks and because most of the symptoms of flu, swine flu and similar covid, doctors rely on reports to determine the line of treatment.
At the Special Hospital of Yashoda Super, Kaushambi, about five cases of swine flu have been reported in the last few days.
However, district health department officials said they did not have such information so far.
“We have not received information about the case of swine flu.

The most risky people are them with liver disease and kidney, TB, HIV, anemia, problems of blood pressure and diabetes.
Parents, pregnant women and children must be extra careful, he added.
Symptoms of swine flu include cold, coughing, runny nose, shortness of breath, fever, chest pain, muscle pain, sore throat, problems with sleep, fatigue, and headaches.
Most of these symptoms are seen between flu patients and covid too.
Dr.
Singh, a senior consultant, MMG District Hospital, said about 20% of 200 patients who visited his OPD clinic every day suffered from flu.
“We ask for a swine flu test too so we can put aside the option.
We haven’t seen a positive case so far,” he added.
Dr.
Ashish Agarwal, President of Ima, Ghaziabad, said it was important to follow the Covid protocol.
“The use of masks regularly can be effective in controlling the spread of swine flu too,” he said, adding that there were no cases reported in the facility.
In Gautam Budh Nagar, there are no cases of swine flu detected.
“However, with more rain this year, we asked residents to clean their place,” said Rajesh Sharma, District Malaria Officer.
In most hospitals, officials say 20-30% of all OPD patients have seasonal flu and malaria cases up from two to 10 in the last 15 days.
