Ghaziabad to take Rwas assistance to deal with dengue fever, malaria

Ghaziabad: The Ministry of Health has held a Meeting of the Population Welfare Association (RWA) on Wednesday to discuss the steps needed to control the spread of dengue fever and malaria.
“To curb a transmitted disease through the vector, the Ministry of Health has planned to take RWA’s assistance at the community level.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday with representatives of various RWA in the city.
They will be sensitive about the diseases transmitted through vectors and ask to prepare a team at Their area, “said Chief Medical Officer Bhavtosh Shanthhdhar.
These teams, CMO said, will do a door-to-door awareness program.
In terms of symptoms, the fast response team (RRTs) from the Ministry of Health will relate to RWAS and take the steps needed.
SK Gupta, District Supervision Officer (DSO), said Rwa members attended the meeting on Wednesday will be asked to carry out campaigns in every week once a week and ensure that the water does not occur in their area.
They must ensure that the water tank is closed correctly and other public areas are dry in the housing community.
If there is a flood, RWA members must immediately contact the Ministry of Health to spray anti-larval chemicals.
With 11 cases of fresh bloody fever on Monday, Ghaziabad’s calculation stood in 155.
One case of each malaria and typhus scrub was also recorded on Monday.
