GHMC E-Portal Plan for Birth & Death Certificates

Hyderabad: To avoid delays in publishing birth certificates and deaths, The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) plans to take the entire online process and have appealed to all city hospitals to upload details on the GHMC online platform.
The GHMC pilot project for online platform is being tested and plans to roll it out immediately.
It has provided a two-month hospital to upload details.
“We have begun to review and issue a certificate according to the new procedure and the results are satisfactory,” said an GHMC official.
The Civic’s body also told that according to the new procedure, applicants do not need to visit the GHMC office and submit applications for certificates.
In fact, the corporation will issue a certificate in a week after the hospital uploads the details.
However, to issue a death certificate, there are two approaches.
If the person died at home, the family must receive a receipt from the funeral land and hand it to the Citizen GHMC (CSC) service center.
After that the certificate can be obtained from Meeseva.
But if death is in the hospital, management must directly enter details online.
After approval from the birth and death registrar, the applicant can take a certificate from Meeseva.
Digital certificates can also be downloaded from my GHMC application.
