PATIALA: Gian Sagar Medical College and Hospital for a certification update for reception to the batch of the two MBBS courses have been approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and medical assessment and the Ranking Agency (Marb), which is under NMC.

College, run by Gian Sagar Educational and Charital Trust, was affiliated with the Sciences of Health University of Health Sciences Babab Faridkot.

By 2020, it has been granted as letter of permission (LOP) by the Indian Medical Council, then replaced by NMC.
