Gian Sagar gets a nod to receive the second batch of MBBs

PATIALA: Gian Sagar Medical College and Hospital for a certification update for reception to the batch of the two MBBS courses have been approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and medical assessment and the Ranking Agency (Marb), which is under NMC.

As a Sekhon, Dean of Gian Sagar Medical College and Hospital in Ramnagar in District Patiala, said College had an annual intake of 150 students at MBBS Course.
College, run by Gian Sagar Educational and Charital Trust, was affiliated with the Sciences of Health University of Health Sciences Babab Faridkot.
Dr.
Sekshon said the college was closed in 2017.
By 2020, it has been granted as letter of permission (LOP) by the Indian Medical Council, then replaced by NMC.
