Noida: Government Institute for Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida, can immediately start post-graduation courses.
This institution has written to the state to start a PG course in about 15 clinical subjects for MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery) degrees.
Officials said that before receiving the final permit, the University provided an essential certificate of Interim, which was received.
In addition, it has provided DNB (national council diplomacy) at eight pre-clinical and clinical subjects.
“Very few Institutes have received permission to start the MD / MS course soon.
However, we expect approval from the University anytime.
Most of our permits exist and we must be able to start this course by the next academic year,” said Brigadier (retirees) Dr.
Rakesh Gupta, Director, GIMS.
The clinical department available in GIMS includes ENT and Head and Neck, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, General Medicines, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Anaesthesiology, Radiology, Dermatology and Pusmonary Medicine.
GIMS is an autonomous medical teaching institution established by the Government of State of Uttar Pradesh in February 2016.
The institution is registered in the community as an autonomous institution about the Lucknow SGPGI line.
