Coimbatore: M Sangavi, a 20-year-old tribe girl from the Malasar community, which is the first MM Nanjappanur Hamlet student in Coimbatore Regency to complete the class XII, securing 202 marks in Neet 2021.
He hopes to get a MBBS seat in the Government Medical College.
The girl, who lost her father last year, lived with her blind mother in a small village consisting of 40 families.
After a few months of training at the coaching center with the help of a good Samaritan, the girl managed to clean down this year’s neet in their second efforts.
Speaking to Toi, Sangavi said his father’s death, which was a big loss, motivated him to clean the exam.
He got a score of less than 100 in Neet last year.
“I maintained a dream of becoming a doctor to help my village people because I had seen their pain and helplessness when they suffered from disease.
I am happy that I did not let my village down and clean Neet.
I hope I can secure a chair in medical college The government and get support from the government, “he said.
