Girl, 17, found dead near Retibunder Creek

Thane: A 17-year-old girl was found dead at Retibunder Creek in Thane on Wednesday.
The police suspected that he might have died of suicide after sleeping with his sister because of a trivial problem.
The police said that the girl had been identified as Saima Salmani, a resident of Mumbra.
The police said that on Wednesday, regional disaster management cells from Thane Municipal Corporation were told about the body of a girl floating in the river.
Next, the body is captured and then identified.
ACP Venkat Andhale said, “Most likely the girl might have jumped into the river.
His parents told us that she was watching something on a cellphone while her sister took it when she went to the market and the duo had a big fight for this trivial problem.
When her sister Back, he was looking for the victim but could not find it.
“The police suspected that in anger, he might have thrown himself on the river, which resulted in his death.
Cases of accidental deaths have been registered and further investigations are taking place.
His body was sent to Kalwa Hospital for Postmortem.
