Glenwood Springs: Investigation is underway after a six-year-old girl on vacation with her family died in an amusement park in the city of Colorado Western Glenwood Springs on Sunday.
Suzanne Emery with Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park said “an incident” occurred on Sunday night on my falling journey which caused death.
The garden independent post report will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
“Because respect and concern for all parties involved, we will not have further comments until all details have been confirmed.
Our thoughts and prayers went to all involved,” Emery said in the news release.
Garfield County Coroner Robert Glassmire said Park employees initiated first aid until the paramedics arrived and determined the girl to die.
The girl’s name has not been released.
Haunted mine, which opened in July 2017, was billed as the first decline to go underground, uphill motorists (33 m) inside the mountain of iron.
Park visitors are required to sign the release of obligations before rising every vehicle or attraction.
The Sheriff and Coroner office is investigating death.
