LUCKNOW: To match the fantasy of living happily with her beau later deserting her buddy, a 19-year-old woman supposedly frees her parents to ease theft inside her home in Gosainganj, authorities said.
The truth came to light during the evaluation of an instance of theft lodged by means of a businessman, Manoj, on Friday.
He said thieves had escaped Rs 13 lakh cash and ornaments worth Rs 3 lakh out of his home Gosainganj.
DCP, South, Khyati Garg stated:”Each of the lockers where valuables were saved were broke open although no indication of forced entry to the home has been discovered.
When quizzed, the businessman’s daughter, Khushboo, confessed to her participation in the offense.
Police also have detained Khushboo, her buddy Vinay Yadav, also one of the aides, Shubham Yadav.
The stolen products also have been recovered.
Among those co-accused, Ranjeet Yadav, remains on the series,” that the DCP said.
Garg stated Manoj didn’t approve of his son’s relationship with Vinay after which Khushboo chose to receive her home purloined and afterwards elope with Vinay.
Khushboo provided’kaadha’ laced with sleeping pills for her parents.
When they dozed off, she let Vinay along with his aides to go into the home and commit theft.
When that they escaped, Khushboo shut the door from inside and then proceeded to sleep,” authorities said.
Cops got leery when Khushboo couldn’t explain why she did not accept’kaadha’ on Friday night.
