Lucknow: A 17-year-old girl allegedly killed by Uncle and his grandfather to oppose dictates ‘without jeans’ in Doria Deoria area, on Monday.
The defendant threw the body from the Patana Bridge on Jalan Raya Kasya-Patna but was stuck in the Grille Bridge and continued to hang there for hours when people passed and told the police.
The grandfather of the girl, Paramhans Paswan, was arrested on Tuesday while his uncle, Arvind Paswan and Vyas Paswan, was still runaway.
According to the police, the girl had begun to wear modern clothes after the family, along with Pastor Amarnath Paswan, shifted to Ludhiana Punjab where she worked.
After he and his mother returned to the village, he did not, as requested by the elders, turned to Desi, and used to stay outside for hours.
