JAIPUR: A 45-year-old guy, whose daughter had been raped, hauled an inflammable material on himself threatened to commit suicide in the front of the IG office at Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district Tuesday, authorities said.
He accused the authorities of not exploring the rape situation correctly.
Superintendent of Police, Bharatpur Devendra Vishnoi reported the guy went into Bharatpur IG office together with his daughter along with others and hauled an inflammable material on himself.
“He had been captured before he would take any additional step and has been arrested,” the SP said.
He explained that the guy had lodged a case with Kaman police station in July a year ago when alleging that his son had been raped.
“The woman had eloped with a single Vakil about 18 July 2020 along with also their loved ones discovered them at Chandigarh.
The woman was brought back after fourteen months, a rape case has been filed against Vakil along with his three brothers,” the SP said.
Through analysis, it became evident that Vakil’s brothers had no participation but the guy wasn’t convinced,” he added.
