Tiruvannamalai: A 10-year-old girl died after consuming chicken plate and biryani at a restaurant in Arni in the Tiruvannamalai district on Friday.
More than 20 others, including three family members, who complained about nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea had been treated at the Arni Government General Hospital.
Officials suspect that restaurant workers can use stale chicken and contaminated to prepare food.
