New Delhi: After a female officer get a permanent commission and the command hosting in the defense forces is equivalent to their male colleagues, gender discrimination in getting tickets to college and military schools including the National Defense Academy may soon end up with the central entries on Thursday told Thursday to The Supreme Court that it did not refuse to consider it.
Responding to litigation of public interests looking for the direction of the court to the center to enable the same entry and opportunity for girls in institutions such as Indian military colleges, Indian military colleges, Sainik Schools, additional lawyers General Aishwarya Bhati told Judges and Dinesh Maheshwari Government Do not consider hostility and fun to consider.
Bhati told the bench that a similar petition seeking the entry of women at the National Defense Academy was also delayed in the APEX court and the two cases could be heard together.
Kailas Petitioner Udhavrao is more, who is an advocate who trains at the Supreme Court, told the bench that the restrictions on the entry of girls in the Ministry of Defense Educational Institution were equal to discrimination based on gender and was a violation of constitutional principles.
In other petitions submitted by the Advocate Mohit Kaul, the Petitioner seeks the entry of women in NDA and asks the court to direct the center to allow women’s candidates who meet the requirements and are willing to join NDA and train them.
