Vadodara: A 20-year-old girl harassed sexually and thrashed by three people near the flyover in the Fatehgunj area on Sunday night.
The girl filed a complaint against the trio at the Fatehgunj police station.
Official investigations said that one of the suspects was identified as Brijesh Kanthariya.
According to the complainant, the girl was on her way to Manjalpur on two-wheeled vehicles with her relatives on Sunday night.
Around 10pm, three people, traveling with two-wheeled vehicles, cornered them near Polytechnic College.
The man, who drove two-wheeled, began behaving badly with a complainant and even threatened him.
When he tried to take his picture from his cellphone, he pulled him down with his hair and began to beat him.
Brother, who was in a separate vehicle in front, returned after he heard the commotion.
The trio of the defendant left their two wheels and escaped from the place.
“We have got their housing address based on a two-wheeled number plate.
I went to the two-wheeled owner’s house but he was on a runaway,” said Wasram Parmar, assistant sub-inspector, police station Fatehgunj.
“The girl said that she did not know anyone was accused or argued with them while driving.
He did not know why they attacked him,” Parmar added.
