Gitmo Ex-Detainee is acting defense minister in the Taliban regime: report

The Afghan Taliban has appointed former Guantanamo prisoners Mullah Abdul Qayyum Zakir as an insured minister, the All Jazeera News Channel based in Qatar reported on Tuesday, quoting the source in the Islamic movement.
Taliban on Tuesday appointed more members to temporarily fill in the main posts, such as the Head of Intelligence and Ministry of Finance, Interior and Education.
Afghan media outlets report that Najibullah has been appointed as Head of Afghan and Gul Intelligence Agha as Minister of Finance.
Sadr Ibrahim has been named the Minister of Home Affairs and Sakhaullah responsible as head of education.
Abdul Baqi will be the head of high education acting and Mullah Shirin has been chosen as Governor Kabul.
Hamdullah Nomani has been appointed as Mayor of Kabul.
Haji Muhammad Idris has been named the Afghan central bank acting director to resolve the closed bank problem.
