Ghaziabad: The Ministry of Health has decided to write to the ambulance operating private company on behalf of the state government to restore the recent emergency and emergency medical technicians.
Officials said they would highlight in their letters, the work carried out by ambulance workers when the pandemic gathered a few months ago.
27 workers from Ghaziabad were removed by the company.
Most of them find it difficult to run their homes in the absence of any income.
“We have received letters from fired employees who work with emergency services for several years.
We are worried about their situation.
We will write this week’s own letter, urging the company to bring them back.
We will suggest they take effort from employees that they don’t Will violate service rules, “said Mishra, district malaria officers.
The problem began after the state government gave an ambulance ambulance contract to a new agency.
The company was allegedly trying to remove old drivers and recruit his own staff, which became a bone of dispute.
Employees accuse that new companies even require RS 20,000 guarantee to hire them again.
These workers have also demanded that they be employed under the National Health Mission (NHM) and are given a salary increase.
A few weeks earlier, ambulance workers throughout the country hit this demand.
The key to the ambulance was taken and the driver was warned to continue the strike.
But after they joined the work, 27 employees were moved in Ghaziabad.
In the whole state, more than 3,300 old ambulance employees are believed to have been removed.
“We have pursued this problem with the District Administration and the Ministry of Health for some time now.
So far, there is no action taken,” said Brij Mohan, President of Union Drivers in Ghaziabad.
“The company’s representative meeting, the driver union and the Ministry of Manpower are scheduled to take place at Lucknow this week.
We hope for positive results,” he added.
Ambulance workers fight hard times.
“We have faced a major financial crisis because of this decision by the company.
We work together with the District Administration during a pandemic and never avoid the task.
Even during the strike was called by Union last month, we continued our emergency task,” said Manoj Kumar, a technician Emergency.
