Give CBI autonomy like EC, CAG: Madras HC to Center

Madurai: Madras High Court issued a lot of direction to the center on Tuesday to “Release the locked parrot” that the CBI should be, including bringing actions that venture legal status with more strength and greater jurisdiction to the agency so that it becomes “more independent” Like the Election Commission and Devotion and Indian Auditors.
“There is always a commotion for the CBI investigation every time there are sensitive and vile crimes committing and there are no proper investigations by local police …
such as trust and faith of the people,” Bench Division of Hakugan and B Kirubakan and B Pugalendhi said while considering the request The CBI that it has worked under constraints such as labor shortages.
“…
it’s very sad, the CBI drags his feet, every time there is a request for (a) an investigation, in the field that the resources and labor are available with it are limited and, therefore, cannot conduct an investigation.
This is the usual stereotype defense From the CBI before the court.
“The bench passed the order while refusing to provide assistance in pills submitted by Ramanathapuram District Patikkapattor Sangam, looking for the CBI probe into the fraud of Fund Fund.
The judges recommend separate budget allocations for the CBI and emphasize the director of the strength of the body which is equivalent to the Secretary of the Government.
The Head of the CBI will immediately report to the Minister concerned or PM, they said.
The High Court bench directed the CBI director to send a detailed proposal to seek an increase in division and further wings along with the power of staff within six weeks.
After receiving a proposal, the center will provide the appropriate order on the same thing within three months, he said.
The Supreme Court is the first to say the CBI “Parrot Reserve speaks in his master’s voice” back in 2013, when it plugs the government upa then for handling agencies after being assigned to investigate the case of the allocation of coal blocks.
Noting that the aura of respect was attached to the CBI, the High Court bench said the only way to ensure autonomy in accordance with legal status.
Agency must also have a dedicated officer cadre instead of relying on deputation, it was observed.
On a detailed report on the questions submitted by the court regarding resources, labor, the skills of the investigation, infrastructure facilities and the status of the case investigated by the CBI, the judges recorded the fact that the agency had functions under some such obstacles as funds and facilities at Forensic Science Laboratory Center (CFSL).
The judges observed that the delay in accepting the opinions of forensic experts was one reason CBI’s inability to close the case quickly.
The laboratory must have equivalent facilities with the available FBI in the US and UK Scottish yard, they said.
This center must build at least one CFSL in the South, East and Western zone in a year, the judges said.
