Patna: Minister of MINISTER (CM) Nitish Kumar on Tuesday conducted a rainy air survey affected by rain in seven North Bihar regencies.
He assessed the damage caused by heavy rain and excessive in the last few days in these districts.
Immediately after returning to the state capital after conducting a air survey, Nitish held a meeting with senior officials of the Disaster Management Department (DMD), Department of Water Resources (WRD) and DMS from 11 districts affected by the rain to review the situation.
The meeting was held in the Hall of CM ‘Sankalp’.
CM requested DM to ensure immediate assistance and other assistance to people living in affected areas in 11 districts – Nawada, Nalanda, Patna, Vaishali, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Champaran Timur, West Champalangan, Gopalganj and Suggestions .
“We must provide assistance needed to all the affected persons.
You must ensure that no one is left,” he told DMS.
Nitish then asks all 11 DM to make the right assessment of the harvest damaged by excessive rain recently and submit a report to the government within three days.
“Also for assessing the loss of plants where Sidling cannot be planted because of the water caused by excessive rain,” he asked DM.
Nitish further suggests DM to ensure sustainable communication with excessive rainy people, and also pay attention to the suggestions provided by them.
“We must help all affected families with all sensitivity,” Nitish told DMS.
He also asked officials to ensure direct repairs to the road and culverts were damaged by the flood.
He asked DMD officials to ensure the actual direct distribution of relief funds (GR) among the remaining flood-affected families.
Previously, DMD Secretary Sanjay Kumar Agarwal informed CM about assistance work carried out in the rain-hit area.
WRD Secretary Sanjeev Hans provides detailed information about the current status of water levels in different rivers and flood protection works run in various parts of the country.
