Ludhiana: National President of Majlis-e-Ahrar Islam Party Hind and Punjab Shahi Imam Maulana Usman Ludhianvi on Monday highlight the need to take the state minority issue.
He said, “Except for grave problems (graves), there are no minority features in national manifests and regional parties holding elections.
Muslim is the largest minority community in the state.
But they have not received a representation in terms of the percentage of votes from political parties.
– Political parties must provide six segments to the Muslim community in Punjab, including Sujanpur and Amarggarh (in terms of population), so the old problems delayed they were resolved.
“Shahi Imam added that they were happy to know that Aladdin was from the Sujanpur assembly segment and Abdul Sattar from Amggger requested a congressional ticket, which must be given to them.
“Minorities don’t need a grave, but also educational institutions and employment opportunities,” he reaffirmed again.
He appealed that minority leaders from political parties, including Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal), Congress and AAM AADMI Party, must include in the manifestos of their election of Islamic High School in all the cities of Punjab and promising to build universities and provide work to youth .
