The CM has been inaugurating the’reading week’ monitoring together coordinated by the nation library council along with P N Panicker base in relation to the 25th death anniversary of P Panicker, founder of literacy and library movement in Kerala.

The creation of Kerala Grandhasala Sangham has been the culmination of P N Panicker’s attempts towards creating a new linkage of libraries in Travancore area.
In addition, he functioned as the very first general secretary of Grandhasala Sangham.
