Patna: A trader who deals with glass goods is brutally killed by criminals in his shop in Chamdoria under the Chowk Police Station area at Patna City on Thursday.
Victims were identified as Raju Jaiswal (52).
The criminals destroyed Jaiswal’s head with stone beams and also stabbed him several times.
The police have restored knives and stones from the place.
Piercing wounds were found in Jaiswal’s head and neck.
Patna City SDPO Amit Sharan said the incident occurred around 3pm.
“The killers called Jaiswal’s family members from the last cellphone and looked for a ransom for his safe release.
The call was made about half an hour after the murder.
It seems that the killers are known by Jaiswal.
The murder might be a fall in personal hostility.
The killers then try to give color Kidnapping to the wrong family and police, “said SDO.
He added family members and friends of Jaiswal questioned.
“Some suspects are being interrogated.
There is no CCTV camera in the store.
The police tried to collect CCTV recordings from the main road to identify criminals and arrest him,” Sharan said.
