Rajkot: A total of 180 passengers were stranded for hours because Rajkot-Mumbai Indigo flights could not take off due to technical problems, resulting in chaos at the city airport, on Friday.
Boarding and toarding must take place from Runaway all day for other flights because the Indigo aircraft must park in the parking area.
According to airport officials, flights are scheduled to take off at 12:15 a.m.
The airline then arranged the plane from Ahmedabad and the flight departed around 5:30 a.m.
Airport Director Diganta Borah said, “We have room to park a large plane, so we parked this Indigo aircraft and attended by their technical team.
Meanwhile, we have no choice, so the dormitory and depose from other flights are being carried out from the runway itself.
However, we have ensured that other flight schedules are not affected.
