PANAJI: The opening ceremony of the 52nd International Film Festival (IFFI) saw a lot of interference, with the invitation to complain forced to enter the venue more than an hour before the event could begin.
The first event IFFI also saw the organizers of the festival accused by MediaPerson and delegates privatizing government events.
The invitation pointed to the invitation stating that the event will begin at 3:30 a.m.
The card also asked for an invitation to come half an hour earlier and said the seat would be on the basis of the first assignment.
However, the delegates said the committee knew earlier that the event would begin at 4:30 a.m.
and said they spent one and a half hours torturing sitting in the crowd during a pandemic, waiting for the event to start.
Meanwhile, photo journalists put their cameras on the road outside the IFFI prime place at the Mukherjee Shyama Prasad Stadium.
They protested after being rejected into the ceremony.
Organizers told journalists that naked rights sold to private channels and photo journalists could not be allowed to photograph the prime IFFI, although the media had a valid accreditation card.
“The Congress condemned the act of selling broadcasting rights to chronic companies and denied going into Goan’s photo reporter to the IFFI opening ceremony.
It was a shame at the Pramod Sawant’s head minister that local photo journalists had to protest the BJP government’s pro-capitalist decision,” the opposition leader was drawn by KAmat.
The invitation said they entered the venue just to see that until 3pm, the last touch of the decoration was still given by workers.
“Ridiculous that sponsors are placed so prominently in decorations throughout the inaugural event.
IFFI is a premier film festival of India’s prestigious Indian government.
I have come to Goa to attend IFFI since it comes to Goa in 2004.
It was much better organized Manohar Parragar as cm.
Over the past few years, the festival has lost sheen and now, to worsen the situation, it was privatized, “said V Subramaniam, a delegation from Kasargod.
When the international jury, led by the Iranian chairman of Iran Rakhshan Baneitemad, was ordered at the opening ceremony, they were seen just submitting Curio-themed Goa, which was intended for tourists.
“I drove for a few hours to be at IFFI, only for my vehicle blocked by someone else at the opening ceremony.
There was no right parking setting and I couldn’t get out for a few hours after the event was finished,” said Raghurama N, a delegation from Mangalore, who has attended IFFI for the past 10 years.
The usual red carpet entries from celebrities are also lost on this initial IFFI.
Heavy rainfall also adds delegation misery.
“I thank you all because it is in the midst of natural anger.
Heavy rain outside,” Director for IFFI 2021, said Chaitanya Prasad when the opening event ended.
