Jaisalmer: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said the global scenario changed very fast and in an unprecedented way.
“In such situations, our security forces and our independence are not achievements, but a must.” Singh praised the efforts of with Drdo, inspection agencies, public & private industrial partners in development, what he calls, one of the best advanced missile systems in the world.
“By handing over the MRSAM system to IAF, we have taken a giant leap to reach ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ as imagined by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It will prove to be a modifier of the game in the air defense system.” He reaffirmed the government’s determination to strengthen security infrastructure.
The country handles every challenge that arises from a global strategic scenario that changes rapidly.
He stated that modernization of the armed forces and building the defense industry that depends on top priority.
