Gmail crosses 10 billion downloads on the Google Play Store

Gmail for Android has reached a big milestone today.
The application has crossed the 10 billion download mark on the Google Play Store.
This makes the fourth Google Application Gmail application to exceed the download number after Google Play Services, Google Maps and YouTube.
Considering Gmail is an important Google application that comes pre-installed on almost every Android smartphone outside the box as part of the Google Apps Suite, it will definitely be surprising, it takes a long time for the application to cross the 10 billion download mark.
However, it will not eliminate this fact still a big achievement for Google.
The Gmail application initially arrived as a means to send and receive emails while traveling.
Then, Google makes several changes to the application to integrate it deeper into other operating systems and Google services such as calendars, events, maps, etc.
