New Delhi: Gmail widget on iOS has just got a useful update.
Google has begun launching new productivity updates for applications on iPhone and iPad.
With this new update, the Gmail widget will get a veranda screen widget and the Google Meet application on the platform will also get image-in-picture mode.
The company quietly deleted the original widget last year and now the new Gmail widget will display more information such as subjects and email senders.
As reported 9To5Google, the new widget will be launched for everyone in the next few weeks.
This also means that the new Gmail widget on iOS will have the same function as one on Android.
The new widget will consist of a profile image placed in the upper left corner, while the compose icon is placed in the lower left.
Apart from the new Gmail widget, Google has also added support for image-in-picture mode on Google Meet.
The report was mentioned, “PIP also came to the integrated video call experience in Gmail cellular for the next few weeks.” Finally, the technology giant will also bring updates to Google Sheets.
Updates will add support for shortcuts.
