Panaji: Not happy with the lack of support from the local authorities after demolition of their livelihoods, the kiosk owner operating outside the Cave Medical College has decided to start peaceful agitation in Santa Cruz in an effort to ensure that ‘Tony’ Mla Antonio Fernandes raised their complaints in the assembly.
The kiosk was dismantled in July.
“The plan to accommodate 76 kiosks in his final stage, but the file is waiting for approval.
We have lost patience and decided to hold peace agitation,” said the kiosk owner, Dominic Pereira, said.
On Monday, they intend to hold Dharna at the residence of Fernandes at 9:30 a.m.

“If the authorities allow us to generate decent income in Goa itself, there will be no need for us to leave the country.
