GMCH Nagpur 1st in Country to Begin endocrinology Laboratory

Nagpur: The section of endocrinology at the specialty hospital at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Nagpur has begun the complex endocrinology lab that the first-of-its-kind in some of their GMCH from Maharashtra, police have promised.
The laboratory was officially inaugurated on May 31 and evaluations began from Thursday.
Many complex hormone-related tests may be run in this lab.
Notably, it is going to be of a terrific advantage for diabetes .
“Diabetes has emerged as the largest danger for India.
We’re undergoing the ill-effects of diabetes at the kind of mucormycosis one of Covid-cured patients.
Early investigation, great observation and management is possible with innovative tests that may be run in this laboratory,” explained Dr Sudhir Gupta, GMCH dean.
