GMDA plans 13 road links in the new sector to install the connectivity gap

Gurgaon: Residents of the newly developed sector may soon see better connectivity with the main road with the Authority of Metropolitan Gurugram (GMDA) which works on plans to build at least 13 “lost” road links in the area.
In the absence of these streets, residents often have to take a longer detour or route to reach the arterial road.
According to officials, the Master divided Jalan Sector 82 / 82A, 82/83, 84/85, 88/89, 82/85, 96/90 and 90/93, in addition to the road outside the 87 and 81 sectors were arranged developed based on the initiative to remove the gap Connectivity with Master Roads.
“In total, almost four kilometers of roads will be built as part of this plan at a cost of Rs 23.71 Crore.
The proposal is still considered,” said a senior GMDA official on Wednesday.
Earlier this week, the Core Planning Cell (BPK) GMDA was informed that permits for several sites proposed for the missing link is available, while Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has not given a number of nods.
Officials at the BPK meeting decided that the site inspection would be arranged for each area where the proposed link road must be built.
In addition, officials will prepare e-estime for the project and find public feedback about the proposal.
Most of the missing links, officials told TII, located between the 81 and 88 sectors but “disturbed by encroachment”.
Officials said GMDA followed up with HSVP every week to eliminate this wild residents.
Connectivity, sector 84 The population of Nishant Upadhyay said, has become an old problem.
“One of the biggest problems I have faced as a resident of the newly developed gurgaon sector is just a basic road connectivity.
To get from one place to another, I often have to take a longer winding or route just because the link that is more comfortable has not been made.
Often Private taxi drivers rejected the journey found that the location was not well connected to the main road, “Uptadhyay said, adding that this basic consideration was ignored when developing the area.
“This plan is a good step but what still has to be seen is whether it really sees the light that day.
Many proposals or projects like that have been deraved but stuck in litigation or other barriers, which delay their solution,” he added.
