GMDA to use Jet Patcher Tech to repair the road

Written by news2in

Gurgaon: With pollution to bring havoc every winter and influence several development and construction activities, including patchwork on the road, the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) now works to adopt ‘Jet Patcher Technology’ to repair holes throughout the city.
At present, GMDA uses a batch mix machine for this work.
According to officials, the proposal for this effect was submitted at the GMDA Core Planning Cell Meeting (BPK) earlier this week, where it was approved, with GMDA decided to adopt this technology for patches in sector-current 1 to 57 in the first phase of the project.
“At present, this technology is being used by the city of Gurugram (MCG), but we introduce it for the first time in GMDA.
The advantage of Jet Patcher technology is that it is a unit that has all the default facilities.
In normal fillings, you need a roller, Paver, compressor, but in this technique all this is built on the same machine, “said a senior GMDA official, adding that the fact that this technique does not require extensive machines or equipment means that the road also does not need to be closed or the traffic stops to use it.
“This is an all-in-one unit that does not produce dust and does not require a lot of workforce.
Unlike the Mac Hines batch that we currently use, which cannot be operated during the construction ban because plants that produce Bituminous materials are closed, Jet Patcher technology This can continue to be used even during this period because the operation is fully independent, “official said.
From the fact that it was still not affected by pollution prohibitions, officials said the technology also had the advantage that it could be used in all weather conditions, unlike conventional methods of patches that can only be done in hot and dry weather, consequently it is difficult to do during the rainy season and season cold.
These points were also highlighted when this problem was discussed during the BPK meeting this week, where officials stated that this technology would allow GMDA to patch out any season, and would also allow it to be better.
Compression.
There is no advantage of this, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GMDA, Sudhir Rajpal, has directed officials to advance ITE the process of adopting this technology to meet the patchwork requirements, indicating that it will ensure efficiency in the repair of holes and patches.
“The proposal to adopt this technology has been approved in the CPC meeting.
This will be adopted in sector 1 to 57 in phase 1.
We will invite an offer where we will provide these sectors completely to the agency to maintain these roads, and they will do this task throughout the year, “he added.
