Greater Noida: Five companies from a total of six allocated 62 hectares of land under the industrial industrial scheme of Industrial Industry Development (Gnida) under the fast track, the Mega investment category on Tuesday.
While two among them are Korean companies, investments around RS 1,000 crore along with revenues around 200 crores are expected from a scheme that will offer employment opportunities to around 5,700 people including locals.
Allotment carried out by interviews including two Korean companies, Dreamtech Electronics India Pvt Ltd and Starion India Pvt Ltd which are allocated 20 acre plots (8,094 square meters) respectively in the Ecotech 10 sector.
While the first to invest RS 264.71 foreign crore , Direct investment (FDI), the company will produce modules for cellphone accessories and image recognition devices and applications.
The company plans to employ around 2,600 people and promised to work up to 50% local youth of the region.
“The company has chosen one-time payment option (OTP) and will start producing in 2 years.
This is the first unit of the company above,” said CEO Narendra Bhoohan Gnida.
Korean company Second Starion India Pvt Ltd which has been operating in Greater Noida has chosen expansion and takes plots of 20 acres in the ecotech 10 sector.
The company will invest RS 240.60 Crore and will produce electronic and electrical equipment such as refrigerators, washing machines, washing machines , air purifiers, etc.
“It will employ around 1,000 people and will start production in two years,” said BhooShan.
Others, the p plot under the mega industry scheme includes Nippon Allies PVT Ltd which is allocated 10 hectares (4,0474 square meters) in the Ecotech 10 sector and will invest RS 250 Crore and offer employment opportunities to around 800 people.
“This is an export-oriented unit (Eou) which is a large company for automotive and has been operating in India for the past 40 years and provides its products to Bajaj, Maruti and Honda Group.
The company has chosen OTP and will employ around 800 people,” said Deep Chandra , Chief Executive Officer (Aceo) Gnida.
Furthermore, 10 hectares (4.0474 square meters) are allocated to Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd in the Ecotech 10 sector and will invest RS 140 Crores and will offer employment opportunities to 1,200 people.
The company deals with electronic goods including high-end LEDs, TV and air conditioning with advanced features and technology from the United States, France and Germany.
“The company will begin production in one year,” Chandra said.
Fifth Company Alpha Milkfoods Pvt Ltd which deals in the production of dairy products provided 1.5 hectares (6,000 square meters) plot in the Ecotech 10 sector.
The company will invest RS 27 Crore and offer employment opportunities to around 100 people.
