Noida: Private contractors were slapped with a two-lakh RS penalty on Tuesday because of the maintenance of the middle threshold that was not right on the road in Greater Noida (West), officials said.
The low is imposed by the larger industrial development authority (Gnida) after the green belt inspection in the 130 meter road area near D Park, officials said.
“Good from RS two lakh has been put in place in the contractor for negligence in the maintenance of the green belt on the road 130 meters in front of D Park, Greater Noida (West),” Gnida said in a statement.
“Contractors are drawn for improper maintenance from the middle threshold and have been told to convey a good amount in three working days.
The contractor is also warned that it will be registered black if negligence is repeated,” authority said.
Inspection was carried out by Genida General Manager (Projects) K Arora, manager B P Singh and Horticulture Department officials.
Arora said such inspections will continue in the future too, according to the statement.
