Gnida prepares to provide furniture & power in booth polling

Greater Noida: Greater Noida Authority has begun preparation to provide the necessary facilities such as sanitiser, water, furniture, strength, toilet and sloping for different in the position of polling under the jurisdiction.
On Friday, chaired by Chandra’s additional CEO, the authorities divided the city into eight zones based on the number of booths and placed them under different work circles.
Officials from this work circle are directed at visiting voting stations to compile the required list of equipment and facilities needed and complete work in 10 days.
“In the first stage of assembly selection, the voice will be thrown on February 10 in Gautam Budh Nagar.
Remembering this, all voting stations must be prepared,” Chandra said.
“Officers from each work circle, including senior managers, managers and assistant managers, have been directed to make stations in their area and make a list of necessary facilities that need to be improved or replaced.” Apart from the facilities such as drinking water, sanitation, furniture such as tables and chairs, officials are directed to ensure the ramps for different wheelchair residents and seniors in a wheelchair in these voting centers.
Given the Covid pandemic, officials are directed further to ensure adequate arrangements for sanitisers and social distance in each booth of voting.
While Dadri has a total of 637 voting stations with 201 booths, the number below Gnida has not been collected by authority officials.
However, according to the source, which tends to be under Gnida’s jurisdiction will include community centers, government schools and public buildings.
