The authority has invited RFPs and the last date to apply for November 22, said CEO of Gnida Narendra Bhoohan.
“The centralized waste collection system will be regulated after the company is chosen.
The authorities will spend RS 121 Crores about this,” he added.
While the company will be selected for 10 years, work will be carried out under the supervision of the Department of Public Health Authority.
Under the centralized system, all village houses and selected sectors will have a QR code, which will be scanned with waste pickers through cellular scanners.
Information will reach the vendor, which will place it before authority.
Likewise, vehicles that move in carrying garbage will also be monitored through GPS.
“In the case of non-collection, residents can complain to the Gnida partner application,” BhooShan said, adding that people can also notify themselves about vendors responsible for their territory, whose names, cellphone numbers, and aadhaar will be uploaded.
About 300-350 tons of municipal waste produced every day in Greater Noida.
Detailed plans have been prepared for the first time by the authority to collect and transport them from the collection points that will soon appear.
Also, the sectors that have not been touched will now be covered now.
Meanwhile, Rs 150 Crore will be spent for four years to clear the internal road.
