Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (Gnida) is set to start the third skills development center (SDC) in Knowledge Park 3 at the end of this month.
SDC will provide training to 210 youth in the telecommunications segment for the engineering of handset repairs and as a line assembly.
Courses, prepared in collaboration with NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation), will be free and will last for 43 days.
On Tuesday, officials examined the center and preparation.
The two previous SDCs were located in the Alpha 1 and Mubarakpur sector (Surajpur).
They began operating on July 27.
Of the six central centers it was planned by Gnida with NSDC, the remaining three must appear on the campus of the Noida Technology Institute (Gniot) which was greater in the knowledge park 2 for the car segment, UDYOG Kendra 1 and in Noida ITI Main Road Chipiyana Buzurg for training in the electronic segment .
Together, these six centers will provide training to around 1,170 youth under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKvy).
“The initiative with Gnida and NSDC is paid off.
At the new center, 60 youth will be given 43 days of training at a time,” said Sachin Kumar Singh, officers about Gnida’s special tasks (OSD).
Singh took SDC stock on Tuesday and also interacted with staff members there.
“In the middle located in the Tower sector of Tradex Alpha 1, 100 young people are being trained in electronics, most of cellular improvements, while 330 adolescents are being trained in telecommunications in the center of the government elementary school established in Mubarakpur,” Kumar said.
