Gnida spends RS 123CR to collect waste at the door

Greater Noida: After Noida, Gnida has taken a step towards a collection of separate waste from the door-to-door that will spend Rs 123 Crore.
The authority has floated the tender to hire a company that will do work for the next 10 years.
While September 28 is the last date for reception applications, pre-qualified offers will be opened on September 29.
About 200 tons of garbage produced every day in Greater Noida and are expected to increase in the future.

While companies can register online until September 20, pre-supply documents will be opened on September 22.
After that, the financial offer will be opened for choice.
CEO of Gnida Narendra Bhoohan said, “We have started to find a company to collect garbage from houses and separate it at the factory.
For now, we have placed a garbage collection system where two companies work.
One company takes garbage from residents’ houses and takes it to The factory, while other companies separate and dispose of waste.
