Hyderabad Somesh Kumar Secretary has told the High Court that the State Government of the State will act on the direction of the court regarding the issues related to GO 111.
Go 111 was issued in 1996 to prevent undue industrialization and heavy construction activities in 84 villages and Ensuring OSMansagar and Himayattar are not polluted with waste, garbage, debris, etc.
However, residents of 84 villages, which are located in the catch of the twin reservoir, want to be reviewed.
They have asked the government to memo away as this water body no longer fulfills the needs of Hyderabad drinking water.
The need for Hyderabad is currently filled with Krishna and the Godavari River.
The country was given up to September 2021 to act on the recommendation of the CS LED committee.
The High Court provides the time of the CS LED committee until September 13 to complete its report.
The court also searched for a written statement from CS with the effect that he would comply with the schedule set by the court.
It was in harmony with this direction, CS on Friday submitted a written statement before the court stated that he would make the best effort to comply with conditions and schedules.
The Jeevanand Reddy environment has opposed every dilution of leaving 111.
Agni Agrotech, who has 17 hectares in Vatti Nagulapalli, one of the 84 villages covered by GO 111, filed a petition urging the court to befall it and look for the elimination of its land.
Appearing for the company, K Vivek Reddy added a new dimension to this case, which until then fought by two rival prosecutors (one look for the elimination of GO 111 and the other who wanted retention), that GO 111 includes certain areas and survey numbers that fall outside the area Water catch.
To support his argument, he quoted recommendations made by ETPRI, an expert committee appointed by the State.
The committee said 945 hectares in Vatti Nagulapalli were upstream areas and did not need to be taken to PurView Go 111.
This case was posted for October 4.
