Lucknow: Sbsp Chief Om Prakash Rajbhar said there was nothing strange in ‘courtesy visits’ to declare the head of BJP Swatantra Dev Singh.
Speaking with Toi after the meeting, he said that he had met Senior BJP leaders such as Deputy CMS Keshav Maurya, Dinesh Sharma and Minister of MOTI SINGH and Mahendra Singh even after walking out of Nda two years ago.
However, he reaffirmed his party would never have an alliance with BJP again.
“I tell you 100% that there will be no alliance,” he told Toi.
When asked if there was nothing political on his visit to Swatantra Dev, why he was accompanied by a senior BJP leader, Rajbhar said: “The fact is that a BJP leader wants to be MLC.
Because he includes Ballia my district, I went to BJP’s head to lobby For the MLC seat.
I didn’t go as a party head but as a friend of the same district.
