Panaji: Every day, an average of 30 violations of the Code of Behavior Model (PKS) and the Covid protocol during the election campaign reported in Goa, through the C-Vigil application.
During the last 13 days, 329 complaints were accepted where 219 was confirmed as a violation of verification, the head of the election of officers (CEO) for Goa, Kunal, said on Friday.
In addition, 28,413 defacements of properties have been removed by the election commission team throughout the state.
Also, drugs at all, alcohol, cash and gold worth Rs 2.4 Crore so far, said Kunal.
“A total of 81 functional flying squads in all 24×7 constituents.
We have popularized C-Vigil applications where every citizen can provide details of violations with Live Location.
Complaints that come on the application are being monitored by the CEO Office and Deo and time bound actions are taken,” he said.
Furthermore, he said the Goa police, the Narcotics Control Bureau and the Excise Ministry team had won the liquor Rs 1.9 Crore, Rs 4.5 Lakh Money, Rs 28 Lakh Value and RS Two Lakh Lake Metals so far.
Of these, the NCB has confiscated 23 kg of medicine, while the Excise Ministry seized Rs of 4,000 liters of alcohol in one day.
Nine firs for violations of the Norma MCC and Covid have been registered so far in Goa, said Goa IGP Rajesh Kumar.
“More than 1,700 preventive arrests have been carried out, 264 proclaimed perpetrators and 91 bad characters have been identified, six people have been selected under the NSA and external has begun against 39 people, who will be sent out of the election,” Kumar said.
For violations of PKS and Covid norms, officers who again issued an exhibition notification that depends on the complaints received and even based on media reports, said Kunal.

Kunal said that the form received until January 18 to the inclusion of names in the voter list will be removed by January 28.
He said 14,127 requests had been received for the inclusion of names in the voter list.
