PANAJI: Goa reports eight mortality and 221 new Covid-19 infections with a 7.7% front minister on Monday.
Six of the deceased was not vaccinated, including a 42-year-old child from Vasco, while both of them doubled.
There were 24 hospitalizations with 197 people put into house isolation for the past 24 hours.
28 people were sent home, while 500 people recovered.
The active case is currently at 4,377.

S Bandekar said there were 15 covid patients in the ICU at Goa Medical College, which was only three vaccinated.
“Three has a severe Covid, however, the others who are not vaccinated do not have severe covids but other comorbidities such as chronic kidney failure,” Bandekar said.
The majority of deaths during these waves have occurred between the elderly who are not vaccinated, he said.
