Panaji: Goa received a bad response to the mega vaccination camp both held in all states on Sunday with 7,560 vaccinated people.
Of these, 6,595 took the second dose and 965 their first dose.
On the last mega vaccination drive on October 31, more than 14,000 people were vaccinated and every day around 5,000 people took the first and second jab.
State immunization officer Dr.
Rajendra Borkar said there was still more than one lakh who matured for their second dose, but did not appear.
The response is less than expected on Sunday, he said and connects it to the celebration season.
“We really went to the doorstep of people and we expect more people to come out,” he said.

Until the date, 9.4 lakh people doubled and only more than 3% were partially vaccinated.
