PANAJI: Active cases have lived below the 1,000 mark for 19th day in a row, but continues to increase since the last weekend with more daily positive cases compared to recovery reported.
Thursday saw 92 positive cases encourage the calculation of active cases to 950 and the level of progress to 1.68% with 5,490 samples tested.
Four people gave up on Covid-19 for the past 24 hours.
The two deaths were respectively reported by Goa Medical College and the South Goa District Hospital.
Nine other people were hospitalized and 83 chose to house isolation.
Eight people were sent home from the hospital and 71 recovered for the last 24 hours with a recovery rate at 97.61%.
