Goa: another police killed in an accident on the road

Pinguinim: Connectable Head of Sandesh Bhagat, 51, from Bhagatwada, Canacona, who had met an accident when returning home from assignments, surrendered to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College (GMC).
According to Canacona police, in Nagarcem, motorbike Bhagat crashed into a wild cow squatting under the HIGHWAY BYPASS MANOHAR PARROGAR bridge.
He had suffered a sad injury and was first taken to the Canacona Community Health Center from where he shifted to GMC.
Locals said many buddies squatted under the bridge and pose a threat to motorists traveling on Jalan Chaudi Char-Rasta, which is part of the highway.
Bhagat comes from the Canacona police station.
He was the second police who died in an accident on the road in the last 24 hours.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Naresh Narvestar, 50, from Paliem, Keri, Pernem returned home from work when the car left the road.
