PANAJI: The state administration is very likely to expand the curbs imposed to restrain the spread of Covid-19 diseases at a minimum by per week.
The present limitations will finish on May 31.
“Any information which the expansion of curfew was decided is bogus,” chief minister Pramod Sawant stated.
“We can have a decision on it tomorrow (Saturday).
There’s a probability of expansion of their curfew.
But now, no choice in this respect was taken, and some other news of expansion is imitation.
” The state BJP also has called for expanding the curbs at a minimum per week.
“We have advised the ministry that contemplating the current Covid scenario in the country, it’s much better to extend the constraints at least per week”, say BJP president Sadanand Shet Tanavade told TOI.
Sources stated that the ministry on Friday consulted a few of the former colleagues and senior bureaucrats within the expansion of their curbs.
