BICHOLIM: Bicholim fire officers have said that they have saved land value Rs 11.
5 lakh during fabrication operations in the wake of Cyclone Tauktae.
Property value more than a crore has been destroyed, such as reductions to the tune of Rs 60 lakh due to damage to homes.
Areas such as Chorao, Mayem, Narvem, Shirgao, Sal, Latambarcem and Mulgao in Bicholim city and Sakhali constituency were severely impacted because of the cyclone.
The saving operations, which also contained clearing of debris and uprooted treesthat had been undertaken under the advice of Bicholim channel fire officer Shripad Gawas.
