PANAJI: After marathon meetings during the weekend, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has finalised a draft coverage to tabulation of marks to Class X studentsand following their public examination for 2021 was cancelled.
According to the draft, pupils will be evaluated according to four inner evaluations held by their own faculty and, from these 80 marks, and 20 may even visit the students’ Course IX performance.
The Goa board will announce the results from July 10.
The board has determined that pupils, who aren’t pleased with their evaluation, will soon be given an chance to look for a test”if the requirements are conducive”.
The draft, that is not yet been accepted by the authorities, says that the examination could be conducted by the committee or faculty concerned.
The board stated that every college will form an outcome committee led from the college headmaster with eight teachers as members.
“Minimum six instructors in the faculty ought to be from math, social science, social science along with three languages, along with 2 teachers from neighbouring universities ought to be co-opted from the faculty as outside members of this committee,” the committee stated.
Pupils will be evaluated from 20 marks each to your formative I and II inner tests completed by the faculty.
A weightage of 10 marks each goes to device tests and preliminary assessments performed by the faculty and 20 marks’ weightage will be provided to the pupils’ Course IX assessment.
“If a college has conducted three or two pre-board examinations it may choose to have an average of these 3 examinations, take the very best operation in the 3 examinations or provide a weightage to every examination as considered appropriate,” that the Goa board draft conditions.
